The power of limiting yourself.
When I think about my day today, I do not feel great about it.
It did not get off to a great start and I did not accomplish nearly anything that I wanted to. I had a giant list of things I thought I could accomplish today and it seems like I barely did anything.
Part of the reason is that I was distracted and let myself get distracted.
But the bigger reason is the fact that I did not limit myself.
I tried to do so much and ended up doing nothing.
What I have noticed is I do my best work and I accomplish the most when I have one thing to focus on. It can be for one hour, half a day, or the entire day but when I know what I am supposed to be paying attention to I thrive.
We talk so much about how we should never limit ourselves so we set these big goals and we set a lot of them, but what happens?
Nothing gets done because we are trying to do it all at once.
So do not limit your goals and dreams but limit your focus to one thing at a time.
